TC — Trapezoidal-ground teeth (Also known as Triple Chip)
In this type, there are two tooth forms — trapezoidal teeth alternating with straight teeth. The first or trapezoidal tooth of the pair cuts deeper than the second or flat top tooth, which, in its turn, makes a wider cut than the first. This means that the sawdust is divided up into three portions. This TC type of saw is particularly suitable for sawing panels, hard plastics and metals and provides a very smooth cut surface.
