Bedford Saw & Tool is a family business with roots in Bedford going back over 70 years. We stock a wide range of tungsten tipped saw blades, high speed steel blades, router cutters and bandsaw blades — which we manufacture on site — alongside hand tools, power tools, PPE, workwear, fixings and site consumables. We supply trade accounts, contractors and construction sites across Bedfordshire, with direct site delivery available. Give us a call to arrange.

Our sharpening service has been running for decades and everything stays on site — so you always know where your blades are. We sharpen TCT and HSS blades, mitre and planer blades, guillotines, router cutters, chainsaw blades and gardening equipment.

History

The business was founded in the early 1950s by Denis and Jean Rayner as a saw sharpening operation, and has grown steadily ever since. Today it's run by brothers Tony and Barry — both experienced saw doctors — with the third generation now involved in growing the business further. Between them they can offer advice on all aspects of cutting and sharpening, and they're committed to making sure you're using the right blade for the job
